Getafe boss Jose Bordalas has called for Mason Greenwood to continue his development, despite labeling him a “great player.” The 22-year-old Manchester United loanee joined the LaLiga side in September, following the dropping of charges against him earlier that year. Greenwood has made a strong impression at Getafe, scoring six goals and providing four assists in 20 appearances.
His most recent goal came in a 2-0 victory over Granada, where he showcased his dribbling skills and curled a superb effort into the far corner. However, Bordalas emphasized that Greenwood is still a work in progress and highlighted the importance of teamwork. Reports have suggested that Barcelona is interested in signing Greenwood, with other clubs such as Valencia and Real Sociedad also monitoring his progress. Nonetheless, his focus remаins on further establishing himself in LaLiga.
Burnley were a formidable foe for MU in their Premier League meeting at Old Trafford in the 32nd round. Nonetheless, Mason Greenwood’s outstanding performance helped them win 3-1. Early in the second half, Marcus Rashford assisted Greenwood on a well-taken goal that gave the scoreboard an early lead.
