Manchester United, in partnership with adidas and inspired by legendary Manchester band The Stone Roses, has released a brand new line of training gear and casual clothes. The collection pays homage to the iconic band by incorporating the dark green, white, and yellow colors from their self-titled debut record into the club’s designs.

Guitarist John Squire’s patchy and surreal design, reminiscent of The Stone Roses’ famous album cover from 1989, is featured on the apparel. Fans can purchаse a signature bucket hat that mirrors the band’s iconic style, with “The Stone Roses” written in golden letters inside the collar of the adidas workout tops.

In addition to the band’s Һit song “This is the one,” fans can also find a long-sleeved shirt adorned with the band’s lemon logo running down the arms, as well as a scarf featuring the same design. The collection includes a range of other items, such as a grey training top, a black sports jacket, a green bucket hat, and various casual tops.

The gear is available for purchаse on Manchester United’s official website, although the first team won’t wear it until their warm-up for the away game against Aston Villa this weekend. Prices for the collection range from £40 for a hat, £90 for a jacket, to £60 for the main workout top.

Jim Holroyd, Chief Commercial Development Officer at Manchester United, expressed that the collaboration was a way to honor the shared history between the band and the club. The collection aims to resonate with both older and younger fans. Players like Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Scott McTominay participated in a photoshoot to showcase the new collection, and a short film titled “Roses are Red,” featuring Gary Neville and Wes Brown, was released as part of the promotion.

As Manchester United heads to Villa Park for their upcoming Premier League match, they aim to continue their recent good form, having secured two consecutive victories. In their previous game, they achieved a 3-0 home win against West Ham, following a tense 4-3 victory against Wolves. Sitting in sixth place with 38 points from 23 games, they are determined to maintain their momentum and climb up the table, currently trailing Tottenham by six points and Aston Villa by eight points in the race for a higher position.
