According to the Spanish press, Kylian Mbappe has signed a deal with Real Madrid, although the particular terms have yet to be released.
As the European press has speculated in recent days, forward Kylian Mbappe will join Real Madrid next season. There is no uncertainty about the France international’s future, as he will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season for the Spanish capital.
Marca, a Los Blancos-friendly tabloid, just published additional information concerning this well-known deal. Accordingly, they revealed that Mbappe signed a deal with Real Madrid in early February. The contract will last five years, allowing the club to own the captain of the French national team until the conclusion of the summer of 2029.
The Spanish tabloid further stated that this deal allows Real Madrid to be the more financially advantageous party. Because Mbappe’s remuneration when coming via transfer is high but does not violate the club’s payment limits.
However, Mbappe will undoubtedly remain Real Madrid’s highest-paid player starting next season. The amount for net annual compensation before bonuses is between 15 and 20 million Euros, but everything is under control.
This figure is significantly lower than what Mbappe earns at PSG, namely around 32 million Euros after taxes per season. Furthermore, it is lower than Real Madrid’s previous offer to the French striker in 2022, which was 26 million Euros a season after tax.
Finally, Marca revealed that Mbappe’s signing bonus may be about 50 million euros, rather than the rumored hundreds of millions.
