Kylian Mbappe concludes his Cameroon tour in Douala, sporting a traditional ‘Sawa’ attire.

Kylian Mbappe, a French international footballer, completed his tour in Cameroon, West Africa.

Football fans have been thrilled by the incredible photographs and videos of the 24-year-old attacker, who plays for the French club Paris Saint-Germain, or PSG, being warmly welcomed in Cameroon, where his father was born.

Wilfred Mbappe, the player’s father, led him to the village of Jebale in the Douala region. 

On Thursday, the French national team captain and his father, Wilfred Mbappe, who was born in Douala, arrived in Yaounde, the West African country’s capital.

When they returned home, they were heavily monitored by soldiers and guards.

In video footage from their arrival in Douala, the footballer and his father can be seen being led to their destination by a convoy of high-end automobiles. 

Guards in black jackets were seen jogging behind the cars transporting the PSG player, as well as an armored military truck.

Mbappe’s dress in traditional Sawa garb became popular on social media.

When Mbappe and his father arrived in Yaounde, they were warmly welcomed by local football officials and supporters.
