At the Cannes Film Festival, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN sensation Kylian Mbappe is celebrating his lucrative new contract with the French giants.
Mbappe upset Real Madrid last week by agreeing to a new three-year contract with PSG at £1.6 million per week.
Teammate Achraf Hakimi was also present at the film festival.
He is presently in Cannes to celebrate the agreement, as well as to relax after the French season has ended.
Mbappe signed off in style, scoring a hat-trick in a 5-0 victory over Metz.
The Frenchman ended the season with the most goals and assists in Ligue Un.
So it’s no wonder that photographers wanted to photograph him in Cannes, where he lapped in the sun in a wide-neck white T-shirt and a blue overshirt.
Mbappe attended the film festival with a buddy and PSG teammate Achraf Hakimi.
The pair appear to be close, having visited Madrid earlier this month, fueling talk that the forward will join Los Blancos.
However, he has decided to stay in Paris despite months of speculation that he will leave, including conversations with Liverpool about a move.
Mbappe reportedly agreed to a deal with Real Madrid before rejecting the Spanish club in favor of signing with PSG.
Mbappe will earn more than £500 million from the new deal, which includes a signing-on fee estimated to be over £250 million.
Mbappe told the PSG faithful before the game against Metz: “I’m really happy to continue the adventure here at Paris Saint-Germain.” To remain in Paris, my city.
“I hope to continue doing what I enjoy with you all, and win titles together!” Thanks very much.”
