Kylian Mbappe Donated £400k World Cup Fee and Supported Sala Search Fund

Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar, has consistently shown his generosity and philanthropic efforts. Last year, Mbappe launched his charity called Inspired by KM, with the aim of helping children aged nine to 14 fulfill their dreams. During the charity’s unveiling, Mbappe expressed his commitment to supporting these children until they enter the workforce.

Mbappe’s charitable endeavors are not limited to Inspired by KM. In 2019, he donated £26,000 to fund a private search for Emiliano Sala’s plane after the tragic incident. Furthermore, prior to that, he donated all his World Cup match fees and bonuses, which amounted to around £400,000, to a children’s charity.

Inspired by KM, conceived by Mbappe’s mother, Fayza Lamari, strives to expose children to diverse activities such as learning new languages, art and crafts lessons, and international trips to help them achieve their ambitions. The charity aims to bring together children from different backgrounds to foster inclusivity and understanding.

Mbappe has made it clear that he intends to be actively involved in the charity’s operations and not delegate responsibilities. He stated his commitment to investing himself fully to make a positive impact on children’s lives and bring smiles to their faces.

In addition to his charitable efforts, Mbappe’s on-field performances have earned him global recognition. At the 2018 World Cup, he played a vital role in France’s victory, outshining Lionel Messi in a tҺrilling match against Argentina. Despite being entitled to appearance fees and bonuses, Mbappe chose to donate the £400,000 to the Premiers de Cordée association, which organizes sports activities for children with disabilities. He highlighted that his participation in the World Cup was driven by a desire to represent his country and defend its colors, rather than financial gain.

Through his charitable initiatives and exceptional football talent, Mbappe has established himself as one of the most generous figures in the world of football, joining the ranks of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
