LeBron James declared before the game that he was prepared to shatter the NBA all-time scoring record

Last night at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, LeBron James had a night to remember. The basketball star broke the 39-year record for career scoring held by six-time NBA MVP Kareem Abdul-Jabbar during the James Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game.

From the moment James arrived at the Crypto.com Arena, the Lakers supporters knew this would be a night to remember. The athlete, who is well-known for his extravagant pre-game attire, showed up looking sharp. Pictures of James’ group went viral online, receiving more than three million views on the basketball player’s personal Instagram account and over 1.3 million views on Twitter.

James arrived for the game wearing a black satin suit. His attire consisted of a black button-down shirt with two notched pearlized buttons undone. James wore two gold pins on the breast of the jacket, one in the shape of a rose and the other rectangular with the words “Stay Present” emblazoned on it.

James completed the ensemble with a championship ring, a series of diamond necklace chains, rectangular black-rimmed sunglasses and a number of bracelets, including a blinged-out bracelet with the evil eye emblem and one from the high-end jewellery line Van Cleef & Arpels.

The well-known sneakerhead accessorised his all-black ensemble with a pair of timeless oxford shoes for the event.
