Fans were shocked when they see Amad Diallo remove all references to MU and lock all of his social media accounts.
Amad Diallo, Manchester United’s winger, has confirmed that he deactivated his social media profiles to prioritize his observance of the holy month of Ramadan. Despite joining Man United from Atalanta in 2021 for a significant transfer fee of £37 million, the 21-year-old player has had limited playing time this season, with only three appearances as a substitute since recovering from a knee ιnjury in December.
The discovery that Diallo had erased all mentions of the club from his Instagram account, leaving only three images related to his loan spell at Sunderland, has sparked speculation about his future at Old Trafford. However, Diallo addressed Man United supporters via his Snapchat account, explaining that he temporarily deactivated social media to focus on Ramadan fully.
He emphasized that Ramadan is a sacred month for him, and social media can expose him to negаtive influences during the fasting period. Diallo urged for an end to any animosity, stating that there was nothing wrong with his decision to disconnect from social media during this time.
