The Jayson Tatum Foundation’s aim is to positively impact and inspire children, youth, and their families via education, athletics, and support, while also encouraging them to strive for their dreams and objectives.

Our children and teenagers are our future, and preparing them for success in their personal and relational lives, as well as in their educational, career, and life’s calling pursuits, is critical in establishing, rebuilding, and maintaining vibrant and positive families, neighborhoods, and communities.The Foundation aims to provide children and teenagers with skills that will enable them to be the positive change they wish to see in their communities.
The Foundation will seek to encourage children and teenagers to believe in themselves in order to live a healthy, productive lifestyle that benefits their families, neighborhoods, and community. The Foundation will work to provide resources, education, and mentorship opportunities to our kids, instilling in them the necessity of rebuilding our communities and their civic responsibility to do so. Our mission is for our youth to have a good impact on their classmates, neighborhoods, communities, and generations in a variety of ways. Together, everything is possible!
The highlight of his year at Duke was the Blue Devils’ ACC conference championship victory in a tough four-game tournament. In June 2017, the Boston Celtics selected Jayson third overall in the 2017 NBA Draft. Jayson started every game in his first year in the NBA and was instrumental in the Celtics’ postseason playoff run against the Cleveland Cavaliers, which lasted seven games.See our blog for more highlights. The Jayson Tatum Foundation will work to help children, teens, and their families through educational and athletic initiatives, mentoring, and outreach events and campaigns. Jayson is a Christian who praises God for his skills, talent, and the platform he has been given via basketball. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13, which states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Jayson’s love for his city has been an important part of his life, both as a volunteer with numerous groups and now through his Foundation. Beginning in 2017, Jayson and the Foundation collaborated with local groups on Hurricane Relief (2017), “New Backpack & School Supplies Collections” (2018 & 2022), and “Daddy & Deuce Toy & Coat Drives” (2018-2022). Jayson has also organized free one-day basketball and leadership workshops in St. Louis (2018-2019) and has taken part in a variety of other charitable events in both St. Louis and Boston.
