Diallo admitted after the match that he forgot about his prior caution before celebrating.

Diallo’s goal, however, stands as his most significant contribution at Old Trafford thus far, as it sealed a remarkable comeback victory against their fierce rivals.

In the semi-finals, Manchester United will only face Coventry City, and if they emerge victorious, they will meet the winner of the Manchester City – Chelsea matchup in the final.

Last year, the FA Cup final featured the Manchester derby, but the “Red Devils” conceded a goal just 13 seconds into the game.
