Lisandro Martinez got involved in a dispute with Vladimir Coufal outside the touchline. While Martinez remained on his feet, the West Ham United defender fell to the left.

Due to that fall, the left side of the visiting player’s body made a strong impact on Martinez’s leg. It can be seen that the Argentine star’s foot was somewhat folded at the moment the former Ajax center-back lost his balance.

Most notably, Coufal’s fall had an impact on Martinez’s knee. This is the primary reason for the pain suffered by the 2022 World Cup champion. His leg appears to be severely bent after the dispute.
