Endrick, 17, scored the only goal of the match after coming on as a substitute as Brazil defeated England 1-0 in an international friendly at Wembley Stadium. Right after the final whistle, England’s Bellingham dashed towards the Brazil bench to embrace club teammates Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo. He even greeted future Los Blancos player Endrick, slapping him jokingly – most likely in reference to his last-minute goal – before hugging him.
Endrick, the future Los Blancos star, became the youngest male footballer to score at Wembley Stadium in both club and international football at the age of 17 years and 246 days. He is the fourth-youngest goalscorer in Selecao history, following Pele, Edu, and Ronaldo.
The former Dortmund player will next play for the Three Lions against Belgium on Tuesday before reuniting with the Brazilian great at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, captain Harry Kane will not be joining him, as Gareth Southgate has confirmed his absence due to an ankle issue.
