The Croatian national football team is in Egypt for a friendly event, and following Saturday’s dramatic penalty shootout, they have moved to the final, where they will face the hosts on Tuesday.
The Flames utilized their free Sunday to tour the pyramids, and because HNS planned this type of Euro preparation as a form of ‘team building’, the young guys in checkered shirts had a terrific day.
Modrić, Kovačić, Gvardiol, Pašalić, Majer, and Livaković played some handball on the Egyptian sand near the pyramids.
It appears that the boys had planned a handball salute, so someone screamed ‘Above all’, and the rest shouted back ‘Croatia’. Kovačić grasped his head and cursed ‘A je*emti’, which made everyone laugh. Kovačić appears to have waved his hand in the wrong direction during the ‘Croatia’ cry, while others went up.
It does not matter, Kova! These are the preparations utilized during playing. It is critical not to play incorrectly in matches.
