Damian Lillard, the Milwaukee Bucks’ star, complained about the refereeing in the women’s NCAA Tournament game between West Virginia and Caitlin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Hawkeyes won 64-54 and will face Colorado in the Sweet Sixteen. Iowa battled to defeat WVU until the final few minutes, when the Mountaineers gave it everything they had.

West Virginia was called for 27 fouls, while Iowa received 11. This resulted in a significant free-throw difference, with the Hawkeyes making 25 of 30 foul shots and the Mountaineers going only 3-of-5.

Despite the criticism, Iowa’s Caitlin Clark was widely regarded as its finest player. The Des Moines native contributed 32 points and eight rebounds while also dishing out three assists. She went 8-22 from the field and 11-12 from the foul line.
