NBA social media handles recently shared a video of Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry welcoming and conversing with former Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale.
Bale, who retired from professional football in January of last year, formerly played for Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles FC. However, the Welshman is best renowned for his stint with Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.
Bale moved to Los Blancos from Tottenham in September 2013. Before leaving the Spanish city in June 2022, he made 258 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 106 goals and assisting 67 in all competitions.
The Welshman has also won five Champions Leagues, three FIFA Club World Cups, and three La Liga crowns with Los Blancos.
Curry also tagged Gareth Bale in a promotional video for Underrated Golf, which he published last month. The two were most recently seen together at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, April 9, when the Golden State Warriors played the Los Angeles Lakers.
Before the game, Stephen Curry shook hands and spoke with the former Real Madrid attacker on the floor.
The Golden State Warriors upset LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers, 134-120, with Klay Thompson and Steph Curry each scoring 50 points.
