Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are preparing to face Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers in the first round of this year’s NBA playoffs, having secured the third seed in the Eastern Conference this past weekend. The Greek Freak’s supremacy this season was aided by his latest trademark shoe, the Nike Zoom Freak 5. As he continues to wear the design during the playoffs, a first look at what to expect from the Zoom Freak 6 has emerged.

  
Two low-quality images of the sneaker show a rose-covered hue that appears to build on the Zoom Freak 5’s low-cut design. Its massive lateral Swoosh returns to the midsole, but the overlay that houses the eyestays no longer protects the toe box. While no information about the shoe’s technology have been revealed, you can expect it to include a top-loaded Zoom Air unit in the forefoot.

 
At the time of writing, neither Giannis Antetokounmpo nor Nike Basketball has announced a release date for the Zoom Freak 6. It’s likely that new incarnation of the sneaker will be released over the offseason, as its predecessor did last July.
