Jude Bellingham is the 2023 Golden Boy! After winning the Kopa Trophy, a Real Madrid superstar defeats Bayern starlet Jamal Musiala to win yet another award

In addition to winning the Kopa Trophy, Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has won the 2023 Golden Boy award with an overwhelming 97% of the vote.

Journalists report that the England international, who has had an incredible start to life in Spain, has been elected the Golden Boy, making him the world’s best football player under the age of twenty-one. Bellingham was named the world’s top U21 player after winning the Kopa Trophy, which was given out by France Football in addition to the Ballon d’Or.

Gavi of Barcelona was the recipient of the prize; other recipients include Lionel Messi and Wayne Rooney. Bellingham defeated a formidable field this year that included Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund, and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala. He did so with an astounding 97% of the vote. When Kylian Mbappe won the trophy in 2017, he was given the same share.
