Borussia Dortmund’s official account reposts a four-year-old tweet that is a scathing jab against PSG

Following their elimination from Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semifinals, Borussia Dortmund took a scathing jab at the French team.

PSG was a strong favorite to win the competition and advance to the championship game for just the second time in club history, but Dortmund created history by winning 2-0 on aggregate.

Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes, Edin Terzic’s team duplicated their feat of shutting out the Parisians in the first leg in Germany last week, with Mats Hummels scoring the game’s lone goal early in the second half.

The Bundesliga team had moments of pure luck as PSG struck the crossbar four times after being denied twice by the woodwork the previous week.

Nevertheless, Dоrtmund put up a strоng figҺt thrоughоut and deserved tо win and gо tо the champiоnship game at Wembley next mоnth, where they will take оn Real Madrid оr Bayern Munich.

Most people consider Dortmund to be a refined team that plays within its means and is always gracious when losing.

That reputation has been earned in part by the devoted and devoted followers of the fabled Yellow Wall, but like any club, they have no problem putting the boot in the faces of those who have harmed them in the past.

Tuesday night, after the game, Dortmund’s official X account retweeted a four-year-old tweet in a scathing jab at PSG.

The disputed tweet was sent out by PSG in March 2020 following their 2-0 victory over Dortmund in the second leg of their round-of-16 Champions League match.
