Anthony Davis, hailing from the vibrant city of New Orleans, kicked off his two-day basketball extravaganza, the Nike 2015 “Make Your Mark” Hoops Tour, in Hong Kong today (8th). In a special visit to Choi Hung Estate, he personally led a basketball training session and shared his invaluable hoops wisdom with local high school students.

At precisely 3:00 pm, Anthony Davis made his grand entrance at the rooftop basketball court of Choi Hung Estate’s parking lot, joining forces with twenty-three enthusiastic Hong Kong high schoolers for an unforgettable Nike Basketball training experience. Having honed his skills from playing various positions during his own high school days, from the nimble guard to the dominant center, Anthony Davis showcased his exceptional versatility. 

With the assistance of Hong Kong’s Division One player, Hui Long-er, Davis went beyond mere demonstrations and delved into the intricacies of low-post play for interior players while imparting his secrets on mid-range and long-range shooting techniques. Moreover, he personally offered guidance to each student, tailoring his advice to help them refine their individual skill sets.

Amidst the basketball instruction, Anthony Davis took a moment to inspire the aspiring athletes, urging them to relentlessly pursue their dreams and goals. With utmost conviction, Davis declared, “Even in the face of skepticism, adversity, or the absence of support, you must remain steadfast in your aspirations. Through unwavering dedication and consistent training, you will eventually earn the recognition you deserve and truly leave an indelible mark.”

As the day’s activities drew to a close, Anthony Davis eagerly anticipated continuing the “Make Your Mark” Hoops Tour in Hong Kong tomorrow (July 9th). At 3:45 pm, he will be joined by Hong Kong’s boxing sensation, Cao Xingru, for a visit to the bustling Nike Store in Mong Kok. 

Later in the evening, at 7:00 pm, Davis will grace the vibrant confines of Wan Chai’s Southorn Stadium, actively participating in the ongoing selection process of the “Make Your Mark” campaign. His discerning eye and expertise will aid in identifying the two standout players who will be recognized for their exceptional performance on this eventful day.
