This week, Marcus Rashford and a group of other famous figures, including NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, artist Rashid Johnson, billionaire Maverick Carter, and actor Daniel Kaluuya, came together to film an episode of The Shop on the Uninterrupted platform.
Rashford discussed his time coming up through the ranks at Manchester United, noting that he had been a fan of the club since he was a child, attending home games from the age of 7 or 8 all the way until making his debut for the first team 18 years ago.
He acknowledged that the club has faced challenges since the departure of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, saying “things have changed a lot” and it has been “hard to find stability.” Rashford suggested it’s a combination of factors, not just Ferguson’s exit, that has led to United’s struggles in recent years.
However, Rashford remained proud of his connection to the historic club, emphasizing how special it was to go from being a fan in the stands to playing for the first team he had supported since childhood.
