Giannis Antetokounmpo received Erling Haaland’s signature Nike shoes. Giannis Antetokounmpo received a gift from Erling Haaland, a Manchester City player and Premier League champion. The Milwaukee Bucks star was pleased to receive a pair of Nike soccer boots from the celebrity.

Before opening the soccer star’s gift, the Greek Freak left a heartfelt message for “The Terminator.” The NBA great congratulated Haaland on his Premier League and Golden Boot wins.

“This is Giannis here. Erling, I just want to say congratulations on another amazing season. You’ve been incredible winning the Premier League again. Also winning the Golden Boot, that’s unbelievable. Keep on, keep on, keep on getting better.”

“I love the mentality that you have. You always go out there and try to do whatever is best for your team to win. And I just love watching you play,” said Giannis in his message to the Premier League soccer star.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is Greek and grew up following soccer, the dominant sport in Europe. Giannis cherished a pair of soccer boots from arguably the world’s best player.

Haaland had delivered his signature ‘Erling Haaland Force9’ soccer boots to the NBA player. Giannis also mentioned that he hoped to meet the soccer player soon and have his boots signed.

At barely 23 years old, Haaland has emerged as one of soccer’s best players. He finished the Premier League season as the leading scorer with 27 goals. He has won the Premier League Golden Boot in the previous two seasons and the European Golden Shoe in 2023.

It’s not the first time Erling Haaland and Giannis Antetokounmpo have given each other sneakers.

Despite their different sports, Erling Haaland and Giannis Antetokounmpo have a cordial relationship. Giannis is from Europe, where soccer is most popular, and Haaland is a top-tier player. Similarly, Giannis is one of the world’s best basketball players.

These two celebrities have been exchanging gifts for almost a year. Last October, before Haaland and Man City met Brighton & Hove Albion, Antetokounmpo sent a pair of his trademark Nike sneakers to the star player.

“Thank you so much, my friend, I will be wearing these,” Haaland stated after receiving Giannis’ present.

Interestingly, Antetokounmpo and Haaland appear in an advertisement for Breitling watches. They are two of the few faces for the Navitimer Action series of the watch, along with Hollywood actor Charlize Theron and a few other known names.

Giannis Antetokounmpo also has soccer experience. He has frequently been observed playing soccer on the basketball court during practice. He was also seen performing football tricks with a basketball.
