A short stroll from the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, Gigi is a venue inspired by Venetian palaces that hosted the French star’s PSG teammates, friends, and club employees.

The menu offers a two-person Cote de Boeuf for €160 [£137], roasted Norway lobster for €78 [£67], and a plate of dover sole for €68 [£58].

Newspaper sources claimed that despite being on the invitation list, French President Emmanuel Macron—who has developed a close relationship with Mbappe—did not attend the celebration.

In his remarks, the forward referred to the people gathered as “family who have influenced my life.” 

On May 10, Mbappe, 25, who has spent seven seasons at the Parc des Princes scoring 256 goals in 307 games, announced his departure, most likely to Real Madrid.

“You already know, right?” his mother and agent Fayza Lamari asked reporters who had gathered outside the event. Regarding her son’s next club, she said.

According to Le Parisien, Lamari appeared to confirm—without explicitly stating—that Mbappe is headed to Madrid as she answered a few questions from a huddle of journalists outside before leaving at 11.30 p.m.
