Eranier Davis, mother of Anthony Davis, the SEC Player of the Year and projected top NBA draft pick, proudly donned a unibrow mask at the SEC championship game in New Orleans on Sunday. Standing by her son, known for his iconic unibrow and shot-blocking skills, Mrs. Davis cheered from the stands wearing a Mardi Gras mask with a drawn-on brow, a gesture of support and unity. She had also worn the mask to Saturday’s semifinal game. Despite Anthony Davis’s strong performance, contributing a double-double, Kentucky suffered a surprising defeat against Vanderbilt, marking their first SEC loss of the season and only the second loss overall. Nonetheless, Kentucky remains the top seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament.
Their first game is scheduled for Thursday at 6:50 p.m. EDT against the winner of a play-in game. And for those curious, Mrs. Davis does not share her son’s unibrow; it’s merely part of her spirited display of support.
