As Kylian Mbappe’s time at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) comes to an end after 7 years, the French striker recently hosted a grand farewell party for his teammates and club staff. Mbappe rented out a private area at the Gigi restaurant in Paris, inviting 250 guests to the event. Interestingly, French President Emmanuel Macron was also invited, although he did not attend the party.

Notably absent from the guest list was PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, which surprised many fans. Despite inviting both club staff and coaching members, the PSG president was not included in the festivities.

In his farewell speech, Mbappe expressed his gratitude to everyone in attendance, saying, “Thank you everyone for coming to the party. I consider everyone here as family members, people I love. I find it easy to open up and share my feelings with everyone.” He did not want to convey any specific message, simply a heartfelt thank you for the wonderful memories they had shared.

Alongside Kylian, his younger brother Ethan Mbappe will also be leaving PSG this summer, according to the players’ mother, Fayza Lamari. She also hinted that the football world already knows Kylian’s next destination, though the specifics have not been officially confirmed.
