NBA Player Anthony Davis Purchases Magnificent $31 Million Bel Air Estate

After signing a $190 million contract with the Lakers, NBA star Anthony Davis purchased a lavish mansion in the exclusive Bel Air Crest community in Los Angeles. He paid a staggering $31 million for the 20,000 square foot, 8-bedroom, 9.5-bathroom estate, which sits on a 3.5-acre promontory with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean.

The home was originally built in 2010 for a local family, the Changs, and was later sold to a retired semiconductor executive named Ted Foxman in 2016 for $10 million. Foxman then spent a fortune extensively renovating and redecorating the property, including adding vibrant colors and even parking a vintage Porsche in the living room.

After Foxman more than tripled his money by selling the home to Davis, he downsized to a $13.8 million mansion in the nearby Encino neighborhood. Meanwhile, Davis had previously owned a $7.5 million home in Westlake Village that he sold at a $1 million loss in 2020.
