Kylian Mbappe raised concerns about his ability to participate in EURO 2024 when he suffered two injuries at the same time.
According to L’Equipe, Mbappe has two injury problems. The first is back pain, which appeared before joining the French team under coach Didier Deschamps. The second injury was a bruise on the knee. Real Madrid’s rookie encountered in a recent friendly match with Luxembourg.
Currently, both of these injuries are not expected to affect Mbappe’s ability to play at EURO 2024.
“The French team does not want any risks to come to Mbappe. This player will be rested and closely monitored until EURO 2024 kicks off,” the French newspaper reported.
The French team’s journey at EURO will begin next week with a tense match against Austria, the team is having personnel turmoil with coach Ralf Rangnick.
It is expected that Mbappe will play from the start in the match against Austria. After that, the 2018 World Cup champion will face the Netherlands and Poland – two other strong opponents in the difficult group of EURO 2024 taking place in Germany.
