The Warriors shooting guard has deleted the majority of his Warriors-related material from his profile and unfollowed the team’s official Instagram account, according to a cursory scroll. Thompson continues to follow the community foundation and Santa Cruz Warriors account, which are connected to the G-League.

This coincides with growing conjecture over the uncertain future of the four-time NBA champion, whose record has been slipping lately.

As the season got underway in the fall, talks for a new contract between Thompson and the team stopped, according ESPN. There was no agreement reached during the supposedly start of negotiations regarding an extension last summer. Thompson’s 2023–24 salary was $43 million.

Coach Steve Kerr, Draymond Green, and fellow “splash brother” Stephen Curry have all said in recent interviews that they want Thompson to stay with the Warriors.
