There is a lot of excitement surrounding the historic NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2022, which will feature the league’s first-ever match in the Middle East between the Atlanta Hawks and the Milwaukee Bucks, the 2021 champions.
Pro athletes stated that they will always value the experience of being a part of history, and that their time in Abu Dhabi will hold a special place in their hearts.
The two NBA preseason games, which will be played in the area for the first time, are something Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is really excited about.

Soon after landing in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, NBA players visited the basketball courts of New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and taught both boys and girls various skills and strategies.
It feels great. Just being able to come here and play basketball with them. It’s a fantastic experience. Because this is our first tour, we are bringing our families with us. Everyone is present. Antetokounmpo said, “This is incredible,” as he watched the basketball clinic.
This week, the capital city will host a variety of youth engagement programmes, Junior NBA Week, and other events as part of the historic NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2022.
This isn’t credible. Although I’m looking forward to the game, days like today make it even more pleasurable. After all, basketball is about assisting the underprivileged. And I am confident they will keep this in mind. Many NBA and Euro League luminaries stopped by my practice when I was 14 or 15, and they influenced who I am today. The Hawks and Bucks will play two preseason games at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena on Thursday and Saturday.
Middleton expected the two teams to play close to each other.

Middleton, who had surgery on his wrist in July, stated he is healing quickly but will not be starting for the team.
“Every day, I am growing more powerful. I still can’t seem to get on a basketball court and shoot hoops. My physical state is good. Apart from that, I simply can’t wait to return and continue playing games with these people. He remarked, “I wish I was playing here.”
