The NBA studs Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic will face off before the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
According to Eurohoops, Serbia’s national team Jokic will face Greece and Antetokounmpo in their final preparation game on July 22nd.
Serbia will compete in the Olympic event as the runner-up of the 2023 FIBA World Cup, while Greece qualified for France by winning the Olympic Qualifying event in Piraeus.
Serbia overcame France in Lyon and is slated to play Australia (July 16), the United States in Abu Dhabi (July 17), and Japan in Belgrade (July 21) before facing the Greek national team.
After winning the OQT and defeating the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Slovenia, and Croatia, Greece will face Puerto Rico on July 16 before their final preparation match in Belgrade. Giannis, Nick Calathes, Giannoulis Larentzakis, and Kostas Antetokounmpo will all miss the game against Puerto Rico but are anticipated to return for the game against Serbia.
As a result, the NBA MVPs will face off, with three-time winner Nikola Jokic taking on two-time winner Giannis Antetokounmpo.
