The Jayson Tatum Foundation is committed to positively impacting children, youth, and their families through education, athletics, and support. Its objective is to inspire and empower young people to pursue their aspirations and goals, while also motivating them to be change agents in their communities.
The Foundation acknowledges that children and teenagers are the future and is committed to preparing them for success in all areas of life. The Foundation’s goal is to provide resources, education, and mentorship opportunities to young people so they can lead healthy and productive lives that benefit their families, neighborhoods, and communities.
The Jayson Tatum Foundation works to develop in young people the belief in themselves and their capacity to make a difference through a variety of projects, including educational and athletic programs, mentoring, outreach events, and campaigns. It emphasizes the need of community rebuilding and the youth’s civic obligation in contributing to this process.
Jayson Tatum, a professional basketball player and the Foundation’s creator, recognizes the importance of his platform and credits God for his abilities and aptitude. His faith is an important element of his life, and he is inspired by Philippians 4:13, which says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
In addition to his basketball career, Jayson Tatum regularly contributes to the community. He has helped with a variety of groups and collaborated with local organizations on projects such as hurricane relief, school supply collections, and gift and coat drives. He has also hosted basketball and leadership courses and taken part in philanthropic activities in St. Louis and Boston.
The Jayson Tatum Foundation is dedicated to motivating, encouraging, and empowering young people, believing that working together, they can have a positive impact on their peers, neighborhoods, communities, and future generations.
