Today, after much anticipation, Under Armour and Stephen Curry officially introduced his inaugural signature shoe, the Curry One. Unveiled at a private event in the Bay Area for media members, the shoe will debut on the court tomorrow, January 9th at 7:30 pm PST as Stephen and his team defend their home court.
The Curry One draws inspiration from Stephen’s remarkable journey from an overlooked high school player to a celebrated NBA superstar, capturing both his personal and on-court experiences that have shaped his career. Its design, characterized by precise lines, mirrors Stephen’s composed demeanor and electrifying playing style.
“This has been a dream come true to be involved in the creation of the Curry One,” said Curry. “The shoe is not just about me, but also represents the belief my family, friends, teammates, and coaches have had in me, driving me to improve and reach this point in my career.”
Born into a basketball family with his father Dell’s legacy, Stephen’s path to success was marked by dedication. He spent an entire summer in high school reworking his shooting technique for greater consistency and effectiveness against tougher competition. Despite being overlooked by major college programs initially, he continuously elevated his game, eventually leading a small college team to national prominence.

Reflecting Stephen’s life both on and off the court, each colorway of the Curry One tells its own story. The “Home” and “Away” versions celebrate his bond with the Bay Area and his team, adorned with symbolic details like the SC30 logo and inspirational quotes.
