After earning his first gold medal in his first Olympic season with Team USA, Steph Curry lit up a celebratory cigar.

In the gold medal match on Saturday, the United States defeated the host country, France, 98-87, to fulfil their mission.

The world champions eventually made their way to an afterparty at the L’Avenue restaurant in the French city, following their celebrations on the court and platform.

Curry arrived and got out of his car, his glittering new medal glistening against the dark blue sweatshirt he was wearing. He had a cigar in his mouth.

Stars LeBron James and Kevin Durant were both photographed at the event, both donning the same animated Team USA shirt with the 12-man roster.

Devin Booker, a guard for Team USA and standout player for the Phoenix Suns, arrived at the event in style, riding an e-bike to wear a red, white, and blue Ralph Lauren jacket.

The festivities are said to have ended at six in the morning, having begun at one in the morning.

With a game-winning performance of 24 points, Curry led the Americans to victory on Saturday. The Bay Area shooter, who has made eight of his thirteen three-point tries, has now added a gold medal to his already stellar CV.

Durant and Booker, the powerhouse duo of the Phoenix Suns, contributed 15 points apiece to the total. 

Meanwhile, James clocked in a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists.

Team USA went a perfect 6-0, which started by clearing group pay against Serbia, South Sudan, and Puerto Rico. 

They then went оn tо eliminate Brazil in the quarterfinal befоre meeting Serbia again in a tҺrilling semifinal game, cоming back frоm a 13-pоint deficit tо win 95-91.
