Crystal Palace are also keen, with funds available from recent player sales, and they believe McTominay could be an immediate fit for their starting lineup. Brighton, too, are strong admirers of the player and are looking to bolster their midfield.

Italian club Napoli is interested as well, but while McTominay has considered the option, he is believed to prefer staying in England. United are reportedly holding out for up to £35m for the player, who remains a popular figure in the dressing room.
