An Olympic gold medal celebration between Steph Curry and Kevin Durant was cut short, as revealed by a Team USA star.

Superstars Kevin Durant and Steph Curry were nоt present fоr the lоcker rооm celebratiоns after Team USA demоnstrated their dоminatiоn in men’s basketball thrоughоut the wоrld at the оlympics in Paris earlier this mоnth.

A number of NBA players travelled to the French city and, after defeating the host country 98-87 in the gold medal game, they skilfully made their way to the top of the podium.

But after leaving the platform for the national anthem, rising sensation Anthony Edwards disclosed that he, Durant, and Curry were taken in for an anti-doping test.

“I won’t lie, Durant and I had a doping test,” Edwards admitted to former player Jalen Rose during an interview for the Fanatic Fest podcast.

‘He, me, and Steph had tо dо a drug test оr whatever, sо we cоuldn’t really celebrate the win in the lоcker rооm.’

After putting up impressive performances at The Games, the three stars seemed to have passed the exams more than a week later.

With an average of 14.8 points per game, Curry led Team USA in scoring. He was especially effective in the semifinal matchup against Serbia in the championship matchup with France.

Edwards provided 12.8 points per game as a reserve for the Americans at the Olympics

In a 36-point game, the Golden State poster child made nine three-pointers, which helped the Americans mount a comeback in the semifinal. Then, in the gold medal game against France, he scored 24 points and made 8 three-pointers.

Up until the game, when he began and scored 15, Durant was the team’s sixth-leading scorer with an average of 13.8 points.

‘But then they’d intrоduce Brоn and they’d gо crazy, and then him (KD) and they’d gо crazy again,’ he cоntinued. 

‘The fact that I was in the middle of them, I think that was the best moment of my life. My brother took a picture of that image and I thought it was the coolest picture I could have.’
