Kylian Mbappé’s Twitter Account Hacked, Prompts Bizarre Posts
Kylian Mbappé’s Twitter account was compromised, leading to a series of strange and outlandish posts overnight. The French star’s X account, previously known as Twitter, was hijacked to share an array of topics, including cryptocurrency sales, the Lionel Messi-Cristiano Ronaldo debate, and even teasing a transfer to Manchester United.
The hacker’s tweets ranged from announcing “Manchester is Red” and joking about a future move to Manchester United in 2028 to trolling Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. They also endorsed a controversial United fan page, “UtdTrey,” and referenced another fan creator, Angry Ginge, in their posts.
Among the posts, the hacker claimed Mbappé wanted to join and invest in an EA Sports FC 24 pro clubs team called GirthNTurf, but only if he received shares from another creator, YungFilly. They also ridiculed Tottenham by replying to fans with dismissive comments and criticized Chelsea as “washed.”
The account also posted about cryptocurrency, promoting a token named $Mbappe. The promotion briefly caused the token’s value to surge dramatically before crashing. One user reported making a significant profit from trading the token.
Additionally, the hacker shared a controversial tweet declaring Cristiano Ronaldo as the greatest football player of all time and disparaging Lionel Messi. This post featured an image of Messi in tears and stated, “Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time. The midget [Lionel Messi] is NOT my GOAT.”
Mbappé, who joined Real Madrid on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, has had a strong start with a goal in the UEFA Super Cup but has yet to score in his first two La Liga matches. Despite this, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti remains unconcerned, stating, “There is no reason to worry” and noting that both Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior are eager to score in their upcoming games.
