After a month of anticipation, Steph Curry and Snoop Dogg teamed together to renovate the basketball court at their Boyhood Club for over seventy children

To improve the basketball court at the Long Beach Boys & Girls Club, Steph Curry and Snoop Dogg have teamed together. Curry Brand revealed the new wooden floors and hoops to more than seventy children on August 9, after they had to wait a month to see them.

Curry discussed their mission statement and the deeper connotations that people attach to sports.

The four-time NBA Champion said to the Long Beach children, “We want to give you a place to come have fun, get lost in the competition, invest in yourself, and be around a lot of great coaches and programs.” “I hope this marks the beginning of an incredible journey in life as well as in sports.” Sports may teach you many life lessons, such as how to believe in yourself and work well in a team.

“This is where I learnt how to play basketball and football, be involved in the community, and make friends,” the 17-time Grammy winner remarked. “I learnt how to talk, rap, and just be myself in this park.” The main goal is to provide these children with greater opportunities than we were able to.

According to Under Armour, since the inception of Curry Brand in 2020, Steph and Snoop have been searching for methods to assist youth. By 2025, the two aimed to improve the lives of 100,000 children and create 20 safer playgrounds with the support of Under Armour. The most recent addition to this list is the LBC court.
