Bruno Fernandes has returned to Cheshire following his appearances for Portugal in the Nations League.
The Manchester United captain played in two matches for Portugal against Croatia and Scotland, netting an equalizer against Scotland. His shot from outside the box slipped past goalkeeper Angus Gunn, with Cristiano Ronaldo later sealing the win.
At 30, Fernandes was instrumental in Portugal’s success, helping them top their Nations League group. Now, his focus has shifted back to Manchester United.
Upon returning to Cheshire, Fernandes visited Sainsbury’s, where he loaded up the trunk of his £200,000 Bentley with groceries and water.
Fernandes’ impressive car collection includes an £85,000 BMW X5, a £64,000 Audi Q7, and a Mini Cooper, though his Porsche Panamera Turbo S, valued around £150,000, stands out as his pride and joy.
With a new contract making him one of United’s highest-paid players at £350,000 per week, Fernandes could further enhance his collection. Despite his excitement about the new deal, he remains realistic about United’s current status. Reflecting on a recent 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, he admitted, “I know that Manchester United is not yet in a position to win the Premier League. Our goal is to secure a top-four finish and qualify for the Champions League. There’s still a lot of progress needed to achieve my dream of winning the league title.”
