With the brand, Curry might become a billionaire.

The apparel company and the iconic Golden State Warriors star recently inked a new, long-term contract. According to the agreement, he will manage his own Curry Brand.

Accоrding tо Rоlling Stоne, the cumulative value оf the pоtential lifetime cоntract—which includes annual basic pay, stоck оptiоns, rоyalties оn signature merchandise, and оn-cоurt incentive bоnuses—is greater than $1 billiоn.

Included in the purchаse аre $75 milliоn wоrth оf Under аrmоur shаres.

In the NBA, Curry has earned $350 million thus far. By 2025–2026, when his current contract expires, he will have earned $470 million.

In addition, he earned far more money from his previous contract with Under Armour and from advertisements from Google, JPMorgan Chase, Rakuten, and CarMax.

It’s important to remember that Curry owns and operates Unanimous Media, a production company. Books, podcasts, and a multi-part Apple TV+ documentary about the NBA player have all been produced by it.

Although Curry has already amassed a sizable fortune, it appears that his partnership with Under Armour will be the most lucrative.

It is similar to the Jordan Brand from Nike, however it is created by Under Armour.

The company’s founder, Kevin Plank, remarked, “I could not picture Under Armour without Stephen or Stephen without Under Armour.”

Curry’s new contract will continue when he retires from football, so recruiting individuals to represent the Curry Brand will take up a lot of time.

The first athlete to join with the Curry Brand was Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox last month. He inked a multi-year contract.

“We intend to make a commitment to the group of athletes – both male and female, across different sports – who aspire to join the UA and Curry Brand family,” Curry declared.

“I believe the greatest growth can occur there.”

If Curry became a billionaire, he would join the ranks of famous people that include Tiger Woods, LeBron James, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan.

Kevin Durant is headed towards billionaire status as well. Together, they played for the Warriors in the past.
