Manchester City and Arsenal drew 2-2 at the Etihad Stadium last week, with plenty of questionable moments.
Erling Haaland was investigated after the game for throwing the ball at Gabriel Magalhaes’ head, but was not punished. He then approached manager Mikel Arteta after the final whistle. Despite the criticism of the game, Manchester City’s players did not appear to fear Arsenal as much as other teams.
According to analyst Riccardo Trevisani, who relayed what Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol told him at a restaurant.
Speaking to Italian newspaper Cronache di Spogliatoio, Trevisani explained: “I met Josko Gvardiol in a restaurant and he told me, ‘No team in the Premier League has ever faced us the way Inter did’.

Man City played Inter Milan in the Champions League last week but were unable to beat the defending Serie A champions. The outcome was a rare 0-0 draw for Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad Stadium, with both teams earning a point in their first Champions League encounter of the season.
It was the first time City had began a Champions League campaign with a goalless draw, but they were certainly fortunate to earn a point. Inter looked the more dangerous team in both halves, with former United player Matteo Darmian wasting a golden opportunity in the second half.
After the game, former Manchester United and Manchester City great Peter Schmeichel slammed the atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium, calling it “absolutely dead”.
Meanwhile, Inter suffered a painful 2-1 loss to AC Milan last Sunday.
